Jean Fugett, Of Counsel   News/Press

Attorney Jean Fugett, an Amherst graduate, received his law degree from George Washington University Law School attending school at night while in the NFL. He also worked as a Washington Post reporter and as a TV sportscaster during his NFL career. He has exhibited considerable financial acumen as Director and Vice-Chair of the McCall Pattern Company Management Committee, as founding partner of a Baltimore law firm, and as a partner with Fanfone in Europe. After the death of his brother, Reginald F. Lewis, in 1993, Fugett took over TLC Beatrice International Food, the largest black-owned and black managed business in the US. At its peak, TLC Beatrice had $2.2 billion in sales and was number 512 on Fortune magazine’s list of 1,000 largest. A highly sought after motivational speaker, who is also diabetic, Fugett spends much of his time visiting public schools, Children’s Hospitals, and taking part in football clinics for kids. He is also a NFLPA Certified Contract Advisor. He was elected to the NFL Players Association Steering Committee in 2005 and this is his first term as President.  He also played with the Dallas Cowboys from the period of 1972-75 and the Washington Redskins, 1976-79.

Oluwatoyin Ademuwagun

Oluwatoyin Ademuwagun, ("Toyin") is licensed to practice law in Maryland, Washington DC, and the Federal Republic of Nigeria.  She holds a Bachelor of laws degree from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria (1995) and a Barrister-at-law degree from the Nigerian Law School (1996).  After her admission to the Nigerian Bar in 1996, she practiced corporate law and landlord/tenant law for two years before migrating to the United States in 1997.
 
After the initial challenges of relocating to a new country Toyin decided to go back to school.  She obtained a Master of Science degree in Criminal Justice from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2001 and a Juris Doctor degree from William Mitchell College of Law, St. Paul, Minnesota in 2004.  Toyin was the 2001 recipient of the Wisconsin Women in Government Award and the 2003 president of both the Black Law Students Association and the Christian Legal Society
 
Toyin is an experienced immigration attorney.  She also practices civil and criminal litigation in both District and Circuit Courts.  She is a member of the American Bar Association, Maryland Bar Association, and the New Immigrations Section of the Maryland Bar.

Krystle Myers

Krystle is a recent graduate of The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law where her course work was concentrated in Sports Law, Intellectual Properties, Corporate Law, and Alternative Dispute Resolution.  Her experience includes working for The Office of the Ohio Attorney General, Sports Management Group Worldwide, Inc., as well as the Compliance office at The Ohio State University.  Ms. Myers graduated Magna Cum Laude from Winston Salem State University with a B.A. in Political Science.  She is a native of Baltimore, Maryland and is proudly affiliated with Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

Edward Bellafiore, III

Ed is currently a third year law student at University of Baltimore, where he is pursuing a concentration in Intellectual Property Law. Ed serves as the vice president for the Entertainment Arts and Sports Law Association and is a member of the University of Baltimore's National Telecommunications Law Moot Court Team. While earning his degree in communications, he was a disc jockey and newscaster for his college radio station. Before law school he worked on many film and television productions, most notably as the Production Secretary for HBO Films (Shot In The Heart - Feature Film); Production Secretary for Viacom Productions/HBO Television (Oz - Season 5); Art Department Coordinator for New Line Cinema (A Dirty Shame - Feature Film); Art Department Coordinator for HBO Films (Something The Lord Made - Feature Film); Set Dresser for Touchstone Television (The Service - Television Pilot); Art Department Coordinator for 20th Century Fox (The Sentinel - Feature Film) and served as Art Department Coordinator for HBO's "The Wire" for four seasons. Ed is very dimensional and has also completed a judicial internship in the Baltimore City Circuit Court with The Honorable Paul E. Alpert, Court of Special Appeals (Retired) and specially assigned Circuit Court Judge.

Michele Reichlin

Michele is a third year law student at the University of Baltimore School of Law. Michele ranks in the top seven percent of her class and is a Production Editor for the University of Baltimore Law Review. She has worked as a law clerk at House of Ruth and Health Education Resource Organization, and has experience with trial preparation and drafting motions. She also works as a research assistant on legislative and government contracting issues. Her primary legal interests are in the areas of intellectual property, contracts, and constitutional law.

Lorraine Martinez

Lorraine is a second year law student at the University of Maryland School of Law where she is a Leadership Scholar and active in the Latino/a Law Student Association; Students Supporting the Women's Law Center; and the Entertainment/Arts/Sports Law Association. Lorraine graduated from the University of Connecticut where she majored in International Business and minored in International Studies. She has business work experience at both St. Paul Travelers and Verizon Communications. Her legal experience includes being a paralegal in the legal department of a prestigious Conneticut law firm, as well as being a judicial intern for General Master Susan M. Marzetta, Circuit Court for Baltimore City. Lorraine is also fluent in Spanish (reading, writing, and familiar with business language).

Henry Greenidge

Henry is going into his second year as a JD/MBA Candidate at the University of Baltimore, after graduating from Hampton University with an Honors degree in Media Management. Henry serves as vice president of the Black Law Students Association and is a member of the Business and Tax Law Association. His professional background includes both corporate and entertainment experience. He worked at Clear Channel Communications as an Account Executive for Power 105.1 in NewYork City and as a Solutions Manager at 103.5 The Beat in Miami. Henry has also worked at Citigroup, Inc. as a Business Banking Manager in Harlem, New York.

Ashley Cormier

Ashley is in the top five percent of her 2009 class at New Town High School while taking AP, Honors, and Gifted & Talented Courses. She is concurrently enrolled in the Pre-Law program at the Community College of Baltimore County with a 4.0 GPA. Ashley has been on the Honor Roll since Ninth grade, and has been a member of the National Honor Society since 2006. She has received the Award of Excellence, Maryland State Bar Association 2006 and 2007/2008 state-wide high school Mock Trial Competition. Ashley also served as a National Scholar representing Maryland at the National Young Leaders Conference. She also placed third in Public Speaking at the DECA Maryland Career Development Conference in 2007.
