Her professional affiliations include Office Manager for the Law Office of Stancil and Rhines, Former Treasurer for the Courthouse Team Slate and Campaign Committee Member for Lisa Stancil for State’s Attorney in 2002. Ms. Tyner has been a Notary Public for the State of Maryland since 1981. Ms. Tyner is the Owner/Founder of Intrigue Sensations: Fashion Show & Events Coordinator, Designer, Model & Make-up Artist. Ms. Tyner is also the Owner/Founder of Tyner Enterprises Secretarial Service & Property Management. Football Team Mom for Northeast Youth Association 2002-2006. Member of the Board of Directors with MULBA (Maryland Unified Licensees Beverage Association) and is also a Certified Bartender.

Damon Burman, Law Clerk

Damon Burman is a 1997 graduate from Edgewood High School. Mr. Burman attended West Virginia Wesleyan College where he played collegiate football and obtained his bachelor degree in biology. Mr. Burman has a Master of Forensic Science degree in Forensic Molecular Biology and is currently a forensic scientist with the Maryland State Police Forensic Sciences Division in the biology unit. Mr. Burman has been accepted as an expert in the field of Forensic DNA and Serology in both federal and state court. In addition to working full-time, going to school part-time, and being an adjunct professor, Mr. Burman is also a varsity football coach at his alma mater, Edgewood High School.

Tsehaitu (“Tubi”) Retta, Law Clerk

Tsehaitu (Tubi) Retta is a second year law student at the University of Maryland School of Law. She graduated with honors from the University of Maryland College Park where she majored in Government & Politics and minored in African American Studies. Tsehaitu was inducted as a member of Omicron Delta Kappa at the University of Maryland College Park. My name is Arman Khadem and I am a second year law student at the University Of Baltimore School Of Law. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in finance from Frostburg State University. While at Frostburg I was awarded an Outstanding Business Student Award by the Allegany Chamber of Commerce. I played three sports in high school, and played basketball for the Community College of Baltimore County. I have lived in Baltimore my entire life, and I now plan on working with the law to help my community.

Liya Amelga is a rising second year student at the University of Maryland School of Law. She acquired her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from the University of Maryland, College park. Liya is originally from Orange County, California but currently resides in Baltimore, Maryland. An interesting fact about Liya is that she is the oldest of six children.

Adam Sharpe is an entering third-year at University of Maryland, School of Law. He graduated from the University of Florida in Gainesville with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy. During pursuit of his degrees, Adam has coordinated numerous service projects in Alachua County Florida, worked on various political campaigns, and interned for the Honorable Judge Themelis of the Baltimore City Circuit Court. Adam is also an accomplished musician, playing the piano, the violin, and the snare drum.

Toney Dixon is a junior at Morgan State University in Baltimore, MD where he is a Political Science major and a Speech Communication minor. As he strides toward matriculation in 2012, Toney plans to join the Peace Corps. and attend law school immediately thereafter. He is a resident of Chicago, IL and loves music.

Shatira Gilmore is a Junior Legal Communications major, Biology minor student at Howard University. She aspires to attend the University of Maryland School of Law and pursue a career as a Corporate/Business Law Attorney. She enjoys reading, mentoring youth, traveling, and spending time with her family. An interesting fact about Shatira is she collects seashells when she visits beaches.
